Lovely, this is really lovely! I love the details. The color against the gray-scale looks lovely. ..

This is really a remarkable photograph!

INITIAL THOUGHTS

This shot really intrigued me when I first saw it. I love how the sun is casting an orange glow over only part of the picture, giving it a bit of selective coloring. Something simple that I wanted to point out was the fact that your horizon is perfectly horizontal. Though it seems like a small thing, it really does help make a landscape picture, well, a landscape picture. You'd be amazed how many people have that glaring error in their photos.

As for details and focus, both are very well done. There are a few focal points in this picture, but none of them take away from each other; everything works together quite harmoniously.

SOME SUGGESTIONS

I don't have any suggestions that I could come up with that would make this piece any better: it's great as is! The only nit-picky thing I think of is that it has been done many times before. Even so, you pulled it off extremely well.

Though this doesn't have to do with the photograph itself, I still wanted to mention that to me (personally) I feel that the frame you used takes away slightly from the overall shot. Maybe a slightly thinner frame would work? Again, that is more personal taste than anything else.

Anyway, please keep up the great work with your photography!!
